The Challenge

Tiger Blue, A luxury phinisi yacht offering private charters and set date departures in the Komodo and Raja Ampat regions of Indonesia needed help to update and refine their brand identity and rollout across all their collateral.

It needed to elevate the brand and perception of Tiger Blue and showcase the experience of “The Ultimate Sea Safari”, to make the offering feel more premium to take them into their next stage of growth.

eBrochure for agents and operators

eBrochure for agents and operators

The initial task was to focus on the eBrochure that is sent to travel agents pitching the benefits of Tiger Blue as a product. The previous design was originally created in-house at Perowne International, their sales and marketing agency. It was more of a pitch deck and had a minimal aesthetic which felt very clinical and functional, but not really showcasing the offering which is all about unique experiences.

After reviewing the assets and format I opted to make this more of a brochure than a deck, something agents could also send on to clients if they wanted. I set about enhancing and unifying the brand identity, developing a more water themed palette and aesthetic, complemented with use of better imagery that was presented in a better way to try and make the experience of viewing the brochure feel more immersive.

New Website

New Website

The update of the eBrochure was so well received by the Tiger Blue, team, Perowne International and agents that were sent that brochure that it meant there was a desire to repeat this on all aspects of their collateral which include itineraries, data sheets and documents on-board the ship but the biggest of these was new requests was the website.

The site was originally created in Squarespace and worked well but like the pitch deck previously it didn’t have that unique, premium feel or even really allow the presentation of content to work as well as it could. By utilising the brand development work from the eBrochure I was able to create a better and more immersive user experience with an aesthetic that better reflected what Tiger Blue is all about.
