I was initially approached by Perowne International to help some of their clients with their marketing collateral. Eventually they asked me to help them with theirs as well. The first step was to take over and manage the updates of their sales and marketing brochure that they send out to agents.

The design was simple and clean but not particularly on brand other than the cover. I proposed a redesign to look at improving:

  • Image Layouts - which were very restrictive and not always very accommodating for the images provided
  • Typography - better formatting and hierarchy.
  • Brand and design improvements - to bring more in line with Perowne’s other brand touch points.

The new design was a significant format overhaul with improvements that focused on better branding for Perowne to create a consistent look and feel and bring in line with their other brand assets. The key significant changes were:

  • Flexible and adaptive image gallery - opting to ditch the single full page and 3x vertical letterbox images to feature all images on the left page with image layouts that can be adapted to eat showcase the property and use any aspect ratio the images are supplied in.
  • Improved typographic hierarchy and way finding - helping to highlight important information, make the pages easier to read and more flexible to accommodate varying text amounts but keep a matching aesthetic.
  • Contents page and locator map - Improved enlarged map to show property locations combined with contents page to create a more useful and interesting contents spread.
